HBO’s mega-hit series Succession, which follows a dysfunctional, foul-talking media dynasty family, wrapped up its fourth and final season last weekend to record streaming numbers.
The Roy family owns one of America’s biggest media organizations leading to comparisons from the show’s thesis and real-life Rupert Murdoch’s Fox entities.
The show has won multiple Emmys for its acting from players who aptly played the part of billionaire heirs with only the most expensive clothing, private helicopters and underground VIP parties. The characters also wore some of the most stylish, classic watches.
Take a look at some of the time pieces worn throughout the season.
Logan Roy
Logan Roy, the head of the family, runs his Waystar RoyCo which has business in TV news with American Television Network (ATN), movies, theme parks and cruises. Here, actor Brian Cox wears an IWC Big Pilot Big Date edition. This watch contains 260 components, 30 jewels, has a 192-hour power reserve. It retails for anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000.
Kendall Roy
Kendall, despite being the second-born son, has been destined to succeed his father as company CEO since elementary school. The workaholic executive often talks in a mixture of company speak and hip lingo. He’s also quite wealthy and shows it off by wearing a Richard Mille RM 67-01. Pricing for that watch starts in the mid-six figures and goes up from there — if you can find one.
Jeremy Strong’s character also wears a Vacheron Constantin Harmony Mono-Pusher Chronograph, a limited edition watch of which only 260 were made. They can be found online in the neighborhood of $50,000 to $80,000.
Roman Roy
Roman, the class clown of the family, is always dressed to the nines. He’s been shown wearing a Rolex Datejust ($10,000) and IWC Pilot’s Watch ($5,000).
Shiobhan Roy
Shiv, the lone daughter, is a skilled dealmaker and stylish dresser. She’s been seen wearing a gold Quartz Panthère de Cartier watch. This watch can be had for around $5,000.
Tom Wambsgans
Tom, the lone outsider of the family, is married to Shiv and runs ATN’s global TV programming. His character, who unlike the Roys was not born into wealth and instead is from humbler beginnings in Minnesota, often is seen wearing clothes that a normal person from St. Paul would imagine a wealthier person would wear. Playing up this point is why Tom can be seen wearing an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph Ref. 26331ST, which can cost upwards of $60,000.
