An analog-digital watch (also called an “ana-digi” watch) is a timepiece that combines traditional rotating hour and minute hands with an integrated digital liquid-crystal display (LCD) screen
Key Features
Dual Time Display: Read the time instantly using the physical hands while viewing digital digits for the exact second, a second time zone, or 24-hour format.
Advanced Functions: Use built-in digital tools like stopwatches, countdown timers, alarms, and perpetual calendars alongside the main dial.
Digital watches can be used to do many things, like time your jog, tell you your heartbeat and let you answer your phone calls — all from your wrist. They traditionally haven’t seen the care and famous design of traditional analog watches. However, some digital watches have stepped up their game in the showing the true versatility of the watch.
Shown below are some cool examples of Digital Analog watches
Tissot’s T-Touch Expert Solar not only is solar powered, but it has a touch screen as well. The watch has a sleek face, titanium body and a scratch-proof sapphire glass. The watch also comes equipped with tools to tell the weather forecast, an altimeter, dual time zones and a compass.

Citizen Promaster Navihawk has Eco-Drive solar charging and a host of functions, it’s also capable of receiving radio signals from various worldwide locations to regularly update time to keep it super accurate.

This Hamilton has an aviation theme. It also features familiar functions, with a flight time recorder, multiple time zones, a chronograph, calendar info, and more.

Part of the Speedmaster family, the Skywalker X-33 shares a familiar case profile with more representative “Speedies,” but the entire dial behind the hands is an LCD display with three lines of large text. Four buttons and a crown provide a range of functionality, all in a lightweight titanium case that will make this otherwise chunky, 45mm-wide wrist equipment wear a lot more easily.

Lastly, the Breitling Professional Cockpit B50 chronograph brings traditional looks and new-age technology together into one watch. The $7,000-watch features a second time zone, a perpetual calendar, two alarms, a lap function and a countdown timer with alarm. Other innovative functions include the electronic tachymeter, a ”countdown/countup” system and the “chrono-flight” device for recording flight times.
